Job description

In your role as an intern, you will be based in Utrecht and support the Private Equity team with its investments across Europe. You will be part of a team of ~3 interns. In the relatively short time frame you will work with us, we will try to involve you in the full cycle of deal making: from deal sourcing and target analysis to due diligence and even supporting in portfolio management. Furthermore we have put together an extensive training program to teach you several technical skills that are important in PE and M&A, such as market research, modelling, sourcing, proposing and presenting an investment target, etc. You will have a dedicated mentor as your coach and sparring partner. You will work in close cooperation with the other members of our investment team.
 

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the investment team in various stages of the investment process
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential investment opportunities
  • Participate in due diligence processes
  • Support in the preparation of investment factsheets, proposals and presentations
  • Collaborate with team members on deal sourcing and evaluation

 

Experience and education:

  • Strong analytical skills and a proven track record
  • Currently enrolled in the final year of a Bachelor’s degree, or pursuing or graduated a Master’s degree in: business administration, economics, corporate law, medical or scientific discipline
  • Previous internship experience in corporate finance, strategy consultancy, or private equity is highly valued
  • Fluent in written and spoken English plus ideally one of the following languages: Dutch, German, Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, French
