MG Partners is een Amsterdams buy-out fonds dat investeert met een buy & build strategie, waar betrokkenheid bij investeringen en ondernemerschap central staat. Huidige investeringsthema’s zijn Kas-en Tuinbouw, Digitale Media, IT, Duurzame Energie en Gezondheidszorg. Investeringen zijn gericht op stabiele, winstgevende MKB bedrijven met een ondernemingswaarde (‘Enterprise Value’) van EUR 5 miljoen tot EUR 50 miljoen. Naast het zoeken naar nieuwe investeringen, ondersteunt het investeringsteam actief de ondernemers achter haar portfoliobedrijven, typisch op het vlak van professionalisatie, organische groeirichtingen (strategie), financieringen, en add-on overnames.
Functie omschrijving
Als stagiaire(e) bij MG Partners werk je vanaf dag één mee als volwaardig lid van het investment team. Binnen 4-6 maanden raak je vertrouwd met alle fases van buy-outs en private equity: je speelt een rol in het identificeren en beoordelen van potentiële investeringen, je leert hoe een due diligence en transactieproces werkt, en je leert hoe je waarde creëert tijdens de investeringsperiode tot aan exit.
Je leert van een jong, ondernemend team met 8 investeringsprofessionals die brede ervaring hebben opgedaan bij oa. HAL Investments, Bencis, Kempen, Nielen Schuman, ABN AMRO en PGGM.
Wat kun je verwachten:
- Uitvoeren van diepte analyses op markten, financiën en strategie
- Maken van financiële modellen inclusief (LBO) waarderingen
- Uitbouwen van portfolio ondernemingen door overnames (‘buy & build’)
- Opzetten en ondersteunen bij implementatie van de strategie van portfoliobedrijven

Wij zijn voortdurend op zoek naar talent om ons investeringsteam te versterken en ondersteunen bij alle aspecten van de investeringscyclus. Vanaf de eerste dag word je als volwaardig teamlid beschouwd en houd je je o.a. bezig met deal sourcing, het evalueren van investeringsmogelijkheden, het uitvoeren van transacties en het werken aan projecten bij portfoliobedrijven, met een sterke focus op bedrijfs- en marktonderzoek en financiële modellering.
Je bent een ambitieuze WO-student in de eindfase van je studie, met een ondernemende instelling en een sterk analytisch vermogen. Je houdt van aanpakken, bent in staat zelfstandig te werken en hebt sterke communicatieve vaardigheden. De stage is fulltime, voor minimaal 3 maanden. De startdatum wordt in overleg bepaald.

Functie omschrijving
Als Intern bij Abenex krijg je de mogelijkheid om praktische ervaring op te doen binnen private equity. Je werkt nauw samen met iedereen uit het investment team. We zijn een platte organisatie waar je vanaf dag één veel verantwoordelijkheid krijgt.
Je zult tijdens je stage in een korte tijd veel ervaring opdoen en het investment team ondersteunen met o.a. de volgende werkzaamheden:
- Analyses maken van nieuwe sectoren / markten
- Strategische en financiële analyses maken van nieuwe investeringsmogelijkheden
- Ondersteunen bij vraagstukken van portfoliobedrijven
- Interne en externe meetings bijwonen
